School of Emotionally Healthy Leadership

A two semester spiritual formation journey for pastors and ministry leaders. Each semester is eight weeks and is grounded in the work of Dr. Peter Scazzero, a global leader in Emotionally Healthy Discipleship with more than twenty six years of research, writing, and practice. His work is used in seminaries and academic institutions around the world, including Harvard Divinity School, Fuller Theological Seminary, and the Asian Theological Seminary.

The course is facilitated by John Sawyer, who has worked closely with Pete Scazzero for more than fifteen years. The Middle District is honored to be one of a small number of organizations invited to facilitate the School of Emotionally Healthy Leadership.

The goal of the school is to transform the way leaders live and lead. It is designed for ministry leaders who desire a deeper life with God, a healthier definition of success, a strong theological foundation for developing leaders, a commitment to meaningful inner work, and a long term vision for making disciples who make disciples for the sake of Christ’s mission.

The course is highly interactive and offered on Zoom.
