School of Emotionally Healthy Leadership

A two-semester, spiritual formation journey designed for pastors and ministry leaders. Each semester is 8-weeks long and is based on the work of Dr. Peter(Pete) Scazzero who has spent over 26 years thinking, studying, writing, and researching Emotionally Healthy Discipleship. Pete is the world’s recognized expert on the integration of spirituality and emotional health. His books are used around the world in seminaries and academic institutions such as Harvard Divinity School, Asian Theological Seminary, and Fuller Theological Seminary.

John Sawyer, the course facilitator, has worked closely with Pete over the past 15 years. The Middle District is honored to be one of a handful of organizations asked to facilitate the School of Emotionally Healthy Leadership.

The goal of the school is  to transform the way participants live and lead: and is designed for ministry leaders who:
Long to lead others out of a RADICAL NEW DEPTH with God.
Desire a new SCORECARD FOR SUCCESS beyond numerical growth.
Want to integrate a ROBUST THEOLOGICAL FRAMEWORK to train more leaders.
Eager to do SERIOUS (NOT SUPERFICIAL) INTERNAL WORK with God.
Aim to MAKE DISCIPLES who make disciples for the sake of long-term mission for Christ.

The course is highly interactive and offered on Zoom.
