Mission CVA creates opportunities for individuals and organizations to gather around a common purpose, rightly positioning the body of Christ as a committed and caring presence in the community. Whether it be a community conversation or a local service opportunity, active involvement in these initiatives enhances a church's visibility and fosters trust among residents.
Into Action
In May 2024, with support from our ministry partner Bridging RVA, we tested the Mission CVA concept. Four middle district churches in Powhatan County collaborated on a teacher appreciation event, welcoming anyone who wanted to honor the faculty and staff of Powhatan County Public Schools. Through this effort, we met new people and discovered a shared purpose in the community. Check out this video and join us!
