Mission Opportunities at the State Fair of Virginia

September 25- October 5

Volunteer Opportunities (sign up by August 31)

Ambassador Program to answer questions and give directions at the fairgrounds. Volunteers must be at least 16 yrs. old, able to stand and be mobile for 4-hour shifts.

Chaplaincy Booth needs clergy volunteers for 4-hour shifts to provide encouragement and be available should a crisis occur.

 

Items Needed- (Bring to MDBA office by September 15)

Hospitality Bags for State Fair workers-Gallon sized freezer bags filled with toiletries and other items such as gum, bath cloths, bandaids and hand sanitizer. These will be distributed to the State Fair employees prior to the opening of the State Fair.

 

Breakfast Sponsors

The CVBM State Fair Ministry Team will provide breakfast and worship experiences for the State Fair employees Sundays, Sept. 28 and Oct. 5. Breakfast will consist of juice, coffee, pastries, and biscuits. If you would like to contribute monitarily to this effort, please make checks payable to CVBM, and mail to PO Box 34241, Richmond, VA, 23234.

We need choir members for the mass choir and minstries to participate in our missions displays in the fellowship hall. Contact our office for more information and/or to sign up!
